Shares of Argus Group Holdings improved by 39 cents, or 12.7 per cent, to $3.45 after 30,000 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd, owner of The Royal Gazette, decreased by 50 cents, or 7.1 per cent, to $6.50 after 760 shares changed hands.

There was also trading of 15,000 shares of Butterfield Bank, but with no change to the closing price of $36.75. Meanwhile, on the New York Stock Exchange the bank’s shares were down 22 cents, or 0.59 per cent, at $37.31.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was up 7.15 points, or 0.32 per cent, at 2,242,17, while the BSX Insurance Index was up 13.38 points, or 0.89 per cent, at 1,519.25.
