Butterfield Bank stocks were down $1.20, or 3.5 per cent, at $33.30 after 229 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the banks shares were down 22 cents, or 0.64 per cent, at $34.06.

Meanwhile, on the local exchange, shares of Argus Group Holdings Ltd, improved by three cents, or 1 per cent, to $3.04 after 1,256 were exchanged, Also improving was LOM Financials Ltd, up two cents, or 0.7 per cent, at $2.77 after 20,000 shares changed hands.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was down 53.25 points, or 2.45 per cent, 2,122.62, while the BSX Insurance Index was up 5.69 points, or 0.35 per cent, at 1,630.82.
