Polaris shares fall 36.3%
Shares of Polaris Holdings Co Ltd dropped by $2.90, or 36.3 per cent, to $5.10 after 1,200 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX index.
There were also declines for three other stocks. Somers Limited was down $1.30, or 8.5 per cent, at $14 after 1,256 changed hands, while LOM Financial Ltd was down three cents, or 1.1 per cent, at $2.77 after 50,000 of its shares were exchanged.
Butterfield Bank fell by 15 cents, or 0.4 per cent, to $33.35 after 277 shares were exchanged, while the bank’s shares in New York were
On the local exchange, One Communications Ltd improved by 15 cents, or 4.3 per cent, to $3.65 after 11,700 of its shares were traded.
There was also trading in 2,090 shares of HSBC Holdings Ltd, but with no change to the closing price of $8.20.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was down 16.62 points, or 0.79 per cent, at 2,136.98, while the BSX Insurance Index was down 3.62 points, or 0.22 per cent, at 1,669.87.
