Adversity: responding positively to hard times makes one stronger

Adversity. When we are faced with life challenges that can even threaten our very existence, how do we react? The best reaction in all of these cases is “action”!

That is, you develop a plan of action that addresses the issues and using all of the resources you can identify; friends, family, colleagues, outside experts and others create a plan that allows you to overcome the adversity and move into the future.

At the same time you can also reach out and assist others facing similar challenges as helping others often leads to you also being given further assistance. A collaboration of many will overcome the challenges and create a better future for all!

“All the adversity I’ve had in my life, all my troubles and obstacles, have strengthened me ... You may not realise it when it happens, but a kick in the teeth may be the best thing in the world for you.” - Walt Disney
