A conference on the hot topic of cybersecurity is to be held in Bermuda next month.

US-based EventTracker is to host a one-day conference featuring top experts in the field.

AN Ananth, CEO of EventTracker, a specialist firm focused on security, information and event management for computer systems, said: “Cybersecurity is a global concern. It affects all interconnected economies.

“While technology has evolved to meet the threat, the attackers have been evolving as well and the arms race continues to escalate.

“The weak link is the scarcity of security analysts to leverage increasingly sophisticated defensive tools.

The conference will be held at the Hamilton Princess on Wednesday, August 10.
