The Bermuda branch of the Alternative Investment Management Association is to hold a Christmas reception.

The guest speaker will be Stafford Lowe, managing director of R3, who will talk about cryptofinance and financial technology.

R3 is a cryptofinance, exchanges and venture group designed to create the next generation of financial services innovation and works with global financial institutions, technologists, vendors and entrepreneurs. The event will take place at Victoria Grill’s Rumbar on Victoria Street in Hamilton on Thursday, December 15, starting at 5.30pm.

Sponsored by law firm Appleby, the meeting is open to all asset-management industry professionals.
