A summer networking event for students keen on a career in information technology is to be held this week.

The Technology Leadership Forum will host its annual IT Summer Networking Event at the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club.

Students will learn about the TLF and its summer internship programme, designed to prepare students for a career in the ICT industry.

They will also have the opportunity to meet industry professionals in various IT disciplines and hear from current interns and alumni about their experiences.

A spokesman for TLF said: “The TLF internship programme provides valuable professional development opportunities for IT students through training, mentoring and work experience.

“The networking reception will provide students with a unique opportunity to build contacts and relationships within the local ICT industry.

“It also provides industry leaders with a first-hand look at the up-and-coming Bermudian talent available.”
