Bermudian-based Horseshoe Fund Services has won the Global Custodian Industry Leader Award for private equity fund administration value.

The Global Custodian, a publication in the alternative investment industry, conducted a global survey of major firms in the private equity fund administration space. The survey consisted exclusively of responses received from the private equity fund administration clients of those firms.

Based on those responses, Horseshoe received the award for Private Equity Fund Administration Value. It was also awarded the Global Outperformer and Category Outperformer accreditations.

The awards event was held in New York City to recognise North American industry leaders.

Scott Burns, head of private equity fund services of Horseshoe, said: “We are very pleased by the results of the survey which reflect a client base that is very complimentary of our service. It is especially gratifying to receive one of the few private equity administration awards and to be recognised as one of the top-performing fund administrators in this industry.”

Brian Desmond, head of fund services, said: “We could not be more proud of receiving this award and we are very grateful to the more than 95 per cent of our private equity fund clients that took the time to respond to the survey. The award reflects the professionalism of our staff and Horseshoe’s core ethos of providing best in class service to our clients.”
