Campbell joins Cox Hallett Wilkinson

Anne Campbell

Law firm Cox Hallett Wilkinson has appointed Anne Campbell to its private client and real estate department.

The appointment comes as the firm announced its intention to introduce new talent across the firm this year to service clients’ needs.

“We have plans for managing growth in demand for legal and professional services by hiring both young and seasoned talent to complement the private client group as well as our litigation and corporate departments,” said Ernest Morrison, managing director.

“The introduction of additional attorneys will complement existing teams, expand our skill sets and allow us to continue to provide excellent advice and professional services to a sophisticated and demanding client base.”

Ms Campbell has more than eight years’ post-qualification experience in London law firms, and can advise on a range of aspects of Bermuda trust and estates law, including complex probates with an international and multi-jurisdiction element.

Lorren Wilson, director and head of private client and real estate said: “Anne will be a valuable addition to our busy team, bringing with her a new perspective and international experience to help service the requirements of our clients.

“The private client and real estate department often deal with sensitive matters that require difficult decisions from our clients. Anne will work with clients to make the process as smooth as possible, in a practical and compassionate way.”

Ms Campbell was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 2009, in the Republic of Ireland in 2010 and is currently a Registered Associate member of the Bermuda Bar.

In addition to her work in the private client sector she has completed pro-bono work with the International Action Team at the Law Society of England and Wales on behalf of lawyers at risk across the globe. She is an Affiliate Member of the Society of Estate and Trust Practitioners.
