Victor Richards has been appointed director in the corporate department of Conyers Dill & Pearman’s Bermuda office.

Mr Richards joined Conyers Dill & Pearman in 2010. His practice includes all aspects of Bermuda law, with a particular focus on shipping and aircraft matters. Mr Richards advises banks, owners, private equity firms and other corporate entities on all aspects of shipping and aircraft registration, finance and transactional matters including debt financing, restructurings, bond issues, IPOs and securitizations.

He is recognised in the 2018 edition of Legal 500 Caribbean (banking, finance & capital markets, corporate and commercial). Before joining Conyers in 2010, Mr Richards spent five years training and working in London, where he gained experience working in project and asset finance.

Conyers also announced promotions in the Hong Kong office, adding further capability to its global offering in areas of practice valued by its client base.
