Taylors recruits Neto and West

International law firm Taylors in association with Walkers has hired Natalie Neto, formerly of Cox Hallet Wilkinson Ltd.

Ms Neto was head of corporate at CHW, where she had worked since 2006, and will join Taylors as a partner.

In addition, Taylors said Bermudian lawyer Nathalie West had joined as an associate in the Finance and Corporate group.

Ms Neto brings over 20 years’ legal experience, having practised in both in the UK and Bermuda. She advises on a wide range of local and international corporate, commercial and regulatory matters, with particular focus on all aspects of merger and acquisition transactions for both public and private companies, including takeovers, tender offers and squeeze outs, amalgamations, mergers, and schemes of arrangement.

She also advises on private equity investments, debt and equity capital markets transactions, banking and finance transactions.

Ms West returns to Bermuda having gained significant experience in London working for Kirkland & Ellis and Weil, Gotshal & Manges.

Ms West’s practice at Taylors will focus on a range of finance and corporate transactions, including complex cross-border financings, restructurings and mergers and acquisitions.

Nathalie also has experience advising private equity sponsors, funds and financial institutions on a variety of financings including leveraged, corporate and acquisition finance matters and restructurings.
