The French AccorHotels brand has over 4,500 properties worldwide, and Bermuda’s own Hamilton Princess & Beach Club is among its best.

That’s according to the latest US News & World Report annual rankings of best hotels, which just named the Bermuda hotel as the fifth best out of 134 AccorHotels hotels and resorts.

Topping the list was the Fairmont Pacific Rim in Vancouver, British Columbia. The Hamilton Princess beat out hotels such as Raffles Istanbul in Istanbul, Turkey, Fairmont Chateau Whistler in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada and Fairmont Mayakoba, Riviera Maya in Quintana Roo, Mexico.

Tim Morrison, general manager at Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, said they were extremely proud.

“Achievements such as this would not be possible without our incredible, hard-working team who are dedicated to turning moments into memories for each and every guest that walks through our doors,” he said.

The hotel on Pitts Bay Road in Pembroke is a Fairmont-managed hotel, making it a part of the global AccorHotels brand.

The publication’s rankings are determined by the opinion of professional travel experts, guest reviews and hotel class ratings.

AccorHotels is a French multinational hospitality company that is the largest hotel group in the world outside of the United States.

The group is headquartered in Paris, Issy-les-Moulineaux, Évry and Courcouronnes, and operates in 100 countries.
