Carey Olsen shortlisted for Magic Circle Awards
Carey Olsen has been shortlisted for both International Law Firm of the Year and UHNW Private Client Services Innovation of the Year at Citywealth’s Magic Circle Awards 2020.
The awards, which are now in their fifteenth year, look to recognise the best advisers and managers in the global private client and wealth management sector. Winners are selected following both public voting and judging by a panel of industry experts. The winners will be announced in May.
In respect of Carey Olsen’s shortlisting for the UHNW Private Client Services Innovation of the Year category, the firm said the success enjoyed by Carey Olsen Bermuda has been specifically highlighted as a reason for its recognition, along with the group’s wider offering in the fintech sector.
Carey Olsen Bermuda, which celebrated its second anniversary last month, employs more than 25 staff and was named Bermuda’s Best Employer for 2019 at the Royal Gazette Business Top Ten Employers Awards, where it also won the inaugural Bermuda Human Resource Association’s Inclusion and Diversity Award.
Partner Keith Robinson, head of the trusts and private wealth practice at Carey Olsen Bermuda, said: “We at Carey Olsen Bermuda are grateful to our clients for their continued support. We hope that the nominations for these Citywealth awards is a recognition that we have been delivering high quality advice in the trust and private wealth practice area.”
