Bermuda based financial solutions firm Abacus Ltd has made Daryl Fubler their new chief operating officer. The newly created role will include managing Abacus’ growth and ongoing evolution of service offerings. Abacus Ltd provides a full range of personalised accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, training and advisory services geared towards assisting individuals, non-profits, and small to mid-sized companies. Mr Fubler will be supplementing Abacus’ service offerings by providing technology advisory services to organisations who wish to maximise their return on investment in technology, require assistance with solution selection, and oversight of business technology modernisation initiatives. For more than 12 years, Mr Fubler was a partner and head of business development for a consulting organisation in the technology services industry specialising in the implementation of business technology solutions, and this is the expertise needed as Abacus looks to focus on efficiency through technology in 2020. Abacus will be evaluating and offering a technology stack specific to client needs. This offering will reduce manual efforts and automate processes and procedures, reducing labour time and costs.“We are excited to have Daryl join the team,” Abacus president Megan Nesbitt said. “Daryl is an experienced business leader with a strong strategic mindset, and a passion for technology. Daryl brings with him a level of enthusiasm, and experience within the financial, technology and professional services industries that will help to propel us and our clients to the next level.” Mr Fubler was excited to join the Abacus team. “Abacus is committed to adding additional value to our clients,” he said. “I am looking forward to assisting our clients drive efficiency in their organisations through technology. The technology landscape changes by the day, so a clear strategy and plan is critical to growing companies.”
