A 50 year-old St George’s man has denied impregnating an underage girl.

In Magistrates’ Court this morning, the defendant — who cannot be named for legal reasons — pleaded not guilty to sexual assault on a female under 16 years-old between March 1 and 30 last year.

Senior magistrate Juan Wolffe released the man on $5,000 bail with a like surety, and ordered him to have no contact with the prosecution witnesses until his trial on September 14.
