Man on manslaughter charge after Lowe death

A Khyber Pass man has been charged with manslaughter in connection with the death of Travis Lowe.

Kethyio Whitehurst, 20, was not required to plead when he appeared in Magistrates’ Court today, as the matter must be heard by Supreme Court.

He was released on $30,000 bail with a like surety on the condition that he reside with family in Sandys.

Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo ordered the matter be heard before the Supreme Court during the September arraignments session.

Mr Lowe, 23, died after a road accident on July 26, when his motorcycle collided with a van at the junction of Horseshoe Road and Palm Valley, Southampton.
