Father denies sexually abusing his children

A Sandys man has denied five counts of sexually abusing his son and one count of sexually abusing his daughter, both of whom are under 16.

The defendant, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is accused of performing oral sex on both children, as well as showing offensive material to his son, touching his son’s penis, inviting his son to touch his penis and masturbating in front of his son.

All six incidents are alleged to have taken place on unknown dates between January 1, 2014 and July 17, 2016.

Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo released the man this morning on $10,000 bail with a like surety, and ordered him to have no contact with either child.

The defendant will return to Magistrates’ Court for mention on November 24.
