A woman has been charged with attempting to set three people alight on Christmas Eve.

Ehbony Allen, 30, from Warwick, appeared in Magistrates’ Court, accused of dousing the trio in fluid with intention to burn them in Southampton.

Ms Allen was not required to enter a plea because the matter will be heard by the Supreme Court.

Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo released her on $10,000 bail with a like surety.

As a condition of her bail, she is not allowed to have any contact with the three complainants.

The matter is expected to appear in the Supreme Court during the April arraignments session.
