A 21-year-old man was charged this morning with the premeditated murder of Morlan Steede.

Kiari Tucker, of Warwick, was further charged with using a firearm to commit an indictable offence.

Mr Steede was fatally shot in the Two-Way Deepdale area of Pembroke on November 3 last year.

Mr Tucker did not enter a plea in Magistrates’ Court as the matter must be heard by the Supreme Court.

He was remanded into custody until June 1, when he will appear before the Supreme Court.
