A 30-year-old man yesterday denied an assault on an 80-year-old man at a nursing home.

It was alleged in Magistrates’ Court that Jonathan Henry, from Hamilton Parish, assaulted the senior on October 10.

Magistrate Juan Wolffe released Mr Henry on $2,000 bail on condition that he attends Hamilton Police Station three times a week and has no contact with the alleged victim.

The case was adjourned until October 29.
