Man charged with Paget stabbing of bartender

A 20-year-old has been charged with the stabbing of a 43-year-old bartender.

Alex Wolffe, from Southampton, was charged yesterday with unlawfully wounding Boris Angalov in an attempt to “resist or prevent the lawful arrest or detention of another”.

Magistrates’ Court heard Mr Angalov suffered serious injuries, including a collapsed lung and damage to his kidneys in the incident last Tuesday.

Mr Wolffe was also charged with threatening and attempting to rob Mr Angalov.

The defendant was also charged with threatening Jahvon Mallory on the same day.

He was not required to enter a plea because the matter must be heard in the Supreme Court.

Magistrate Tyrone Chin remanded Mr Wolffe until December 3, when he will appear before the Supreme Court. • It is The Royal Gazette’s policy not to allow comments on stories regarding criminal court cases.
