Pair charged with St George’s theft spree

Two people were charged yesterday with targeting St George’s stores in a series of thefts.

Jerrika Jacobs, 42, from St George’s, admitted stealing $160 of items from Robertson’s Drug Store on September 20 and $77 of goods from Cousin’s Variety on September 23.

Jacobs and Leonard Adams, 33, from Southampton, admitted stealing $345 of goods from Somers Supermart on September 23. The bulk of stolen items were cleaning supplies and toiletries.

Senior magistrate Juan Wolffe bailed Jacobs to Drug Treatment Court, while Adams is set to return next month.

They were released on $1,500 bail and to stay away from Robertson’s Drug Store.
