Woman caught at airport with cocaine

A 25-year-old woman has admitted smuggling $125,000 of cocaine into the island.

Deja Anee Richardson, from Pembroke, pleaded guilty to importing 522 grams of the controlled drug in an incident at the LF Wade International Airport on October 27 last year.

She denied a second charge of possessing the drugs with intent to supply.

Richardson is expected to return to the Supreme Court in February to be sentenced.
