Man accused of knife possession

A man has been charged with possession of an eight-inch pocket knife in a public place.

Jahni Holder, 24, from Pembroke, denied the offence in Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.

The incident is alleged to have happened on May 22 in Pembroke.

Mr Holder also pleaded not guilty to involvement in a fight at Southampton Rangers Sports Club on February 2.

Senior magistrate Juan Wolffe released Mr Holder on $10,000 bail and adjourned the case until June 10.

He also ordered him to wear an electronic tag, adhere to a curfew and report to Hamilton Police Station three times a week.
