Senior denies sex assaults on schoolgirl

A senior yesterday denied two sex assaults on a girl aged under 14.

The 71-year-old, of no fixed address, is alleged to have committed the offences in Pembroke sometime between August 1 and 31 last year. The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared in Magistrates’ Court.

Magistrate Maxanne Anderson adjourned the case until July 1 and released the man $6,000 bail. She ordered him to have no contact with his alleged victim.
