Spinner Brian Hall followed up his six wickets on Saturday in the Central Counties with five more yesterday for Western Stars.

Former Stars pair Treadwell Gibbons and Temiko Wilson gave Cleveland the perfect start after winning the toss, putting on 64 for the first wicket in just 47 minutes. However, once Hall had Wilson caught by PJ Thomas for 25 off 50 balls, the bottom fell out of the Cleveland innings. Bryce Daniels (17), batting at No 4, was the only other batsman to reach double figures as nine wickets went down for just 58 runs, with Hall finishing with outstanding figures of five for 16 from nine overs with three maidens.

Gibbons, who played for Stars in the Central Counties the day before, scoring 60, was the top bat for Cleveland with 39 from 39 balls. He hit three fours and a six in 58 minutes at the crease. Supporting Hall in the bowling was Dalin Richardson with three for 32 and PJ Thomas with two for 27.

Stars replied with 113 for four with captain Justin Robinson leading the way with 54 while Bermuda Under-19 pair Richardson and Jaiden Manders scored 30 and 17 respectively.
