Crockwell event at St David’s
The Fiqre Crockwell Cricket Expo takes place at St David’s Cricket Club this weekend.
Eight teams will be competing in the main tournament on Saturday, including returning champions PHC. Games will begin at 10am and last until 7pm.
A women’s match will take place during the lunch break and there will be a children’s match between St David’s and Flatts under-12s tomorrow night. Entry is $5 and children under 12 are free. There will be food vendors, Xtreme sports, fun castles and face painting.
“The purpose of the event is to bring awareness to gun violence, encourage strong community ties and to ensure Fiqre’s legacy lives on,” said committee member Keishae Robinson.
There will also be a happy hour on Friday where teams can collect their jersey’s and the schedule will be revealed.
