A second man was arrested yesterday in connection with a fight at the Hamilton bus terminal.

A police spokesman said that an 18-year-old man was detained after he was released from the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

Police announced on Tuesday that a 20-year-old man injured in the same incident was arrested after he was released from hospital on Monday.

The spokesman said: “Both men have been released on police bail pending further inquiries.”

The fight is alleged to have happened at the Church Street end of the terminal at about 11.30am on Monday.

Police have appealed for witnesses.
