Inquiry launched into hotel disturbance
Police are investigating a threatening confrontation at the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club that was posted on social media.
Pictures and video of the incident were shared on Facebook on June 9 after a man arrived at the hotel’s pool and began accosting guests.
A police spokesman confirmed that a man had come on to the hotel property and “began behaving in a threatening manner”.
The spokesman added: “An investigation into this incident is now under way and officers are also liaising with the relevant hotel personnel to minimise the likelihood of a recurrence.”
