Police: teen harassed in bus terminal
A teenage girl was said to be harassed by a man in the Hamilton bus terminal on Thursday afternoon, according to a post on social media.
A police spokesman said the incident occurred around 4pm — with a member of the public intervening and challenging the man, who ran off.
The matter has been reported to police, with inquiries being made.
The suspect is described as dark complexioned and bald, and is believed to be in his early 50s or 60s.
Any witnesses who were in the area at the time — or members of the public that know the identity of the man involved — are asked to call the Vulnerable Persons Unit on 247-1678.
