Police have appealed for anyone who videoed a stabbing attack at the weekend to hand their footage over.

The appeal came after a police spokesman said on Monday that a 19-year-old woman, believed to be from Paget, had been arrested in connection with the stabbing of an 18-year-old Devonshire woman at Horseshoe Bay on Sunday at about 12.30am.

The police spokesman said: “Any information provided will be treated in the strictest of confidence.”

He added that the arrested woman remained in police custody.
