Hopkins continues to show superb form

Kaden Hopkins continued his fine form as he broke Dominique Mayho’s course record at the recent Winners Edge Time-Trial.

Hopkins, who won the Sinclair Packwood Memorial Road Race, finished the 14.9-mile race in Harrington Sound in a time of 32min 42.1sec.

Anthony Bartley was second in 35:58 with another junior rider, Conor White, taking third in 36:17.7. White also came third in the Sinclair Packwood Memorial Road Race on May 24.

Nicole Mitchell won the women’s category in 39:49, with Alyssa Rowse second in 39:58.3 and Zoenique Williams third in 41:06.9 Mayho, the island’s top cyclist — who will join Hopkins in Bermuda’s NatWest Island Games team in Gotland this month — is presently cycling at the amateur level in Belgium.
