Matthew Oliveria is in sixth place after stage one of the Junior Tour of Ireland today.

Oliveira — who is representing Hot Tubes, a top developmental team in the United States — finished the time-trial race in 8min 16.39sec.

Magnus Sheffield, his team-mate, took the white jersey after finishing first in 7:54.52.

The Junior Tour of Ireland, a six-stage race in Ennis, County Clare, continues with stage two tomorrow.
