Matthew Oliveira is fourth in the general classification in the Junior Tour of Ireland in Ennis, County Clare.

The Bermudian, who is riding for Hot Tubes, a top developmental team in the United States, placed 24th in stage three yesterday in a time of 2hr 31min 50sec.

He placed 31st in two stage on Tuesday and sixth in the first stage time-trial on Monday for an overall time of 4:55:46.

Oliveira’s Top Tubes team-mate Magnus Sheffield is leading the general classification with an overall time of 4:55:24.

The Junior Tour of Ireland, a six-stage race, continues with stage four today.
