A woman motorcyclist was taken to hospital after a crash in Smith’s yesterday.

The 26-year-old was hurt when her bike collided with a car.

The woman, from Hamilton Parish, was treated at the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital and later discharged.

The crash happened in the area of Store Hill and Middle Road in Smith’s at about 8am and caused traffic delays as police examined the scene. Police have appealed for witnesses.
