Man injured in Southampton car crash
A man has suffered potentially serious injuries in a crash in Southampton this afternoon.
A police spokesman said emergency services were called to Middle Road, near the junction with Church Road, shortly before 5pm.
He said: “Initial information suggests that a single car was involved.”
Police were not sure whether the injured man was the driver of the vehicle.
He was taken by ambulance to the hospital for treatment of “potentially serious” injuries.
Traffic was being diverted away from the area this afternoon.
