A taxi overturned after it was in collision with a car on a Paget roundabout on Saturday.

Police said the incident happened on the parish’s Berry Hill Road at the north roundabout.

The taxi driver, a 58-year-old Southampton man, is believed to have suffered minor injuries after his cab was in collision with the car as both attempted to negotiate the roundabout.

The taxi hit a wall before it ended up on its side.

A passenger in the cab and two people in the car were all unhurt. Traffic in the area was delayed while the crash scene was examined, but conditions were back to normal by about 8pm. Police have appealed for witnesses.
