Tokunbo arrested after car crash

Khamisi Tokunbo

A magistrate was arrested at the weekend after a car crash.

It is understood that Khamisi Tokunbo and another man, both aged 64, were taken into custody after an accident on South Shore Road, in Paget.

The car lost control and went down an embankment near the public entrance to Elbow Beach shortly before 8pm Saturday.

The pair were helped out of the car by a passer-by.

The other man was treated at hospital minor injuries.

Magistrate appointments are made by John Rankin, the Governor, who is responsible for their conduct.
