The collision between a minibus and a car on Tuesday evening took place on Harrington Sound Road in Hamilton Parish — not Smith’s as originally stated.

Traffic diversions were in place on Harrington Sound Road as a result of the two-vehicle crash at about 6.20pm near Tom Moore’s Tavern.

A police spokesman said that three people — the driver of the car, a 36-year-old Warwick woman, the driver of the minibus, a 61-year-old Hamilton Parish man, and a passenger in the minibus, a 33-year-old American man, sustained non-life threatening injuries and have all since been discharged.

Posts online showed the vehicles and debris in the road just north of the junction with Walsingham Lane.

Drivers were advised to take alternate routes until further notice.

Normal traffic resumed within half and hour until the damaged vehicles were towed away.

Any witnesses are asked to call the main police telephone number 295-0011.
