Motorcyclist hurt in rush-hour crash


A motorcyclist suffered head and facial injuries in a crash in Devonshire yesterday.

The incident happened on North Shore Road near the former Clayhouse Inn, before 8.30am. A police spokesman said the victim was conscious and alert and was taken by ambulance to hospital for treatment.

Motorists faced traffic delays as the scene was processed.

Witnesses to the road accident should call police on 295-0011.
