An information session for parents is to be held on Wednesday of next week on standards-based grading, which is being introduced throughout public schools.

The system, which will be implemented from the primary through senior school levels, is aimed at bringing “more focus on learning rather than points”, a Department of Education spokeswoman said.

The parent engagement session is to be held in the CedarBridge Academy cafetorium from 5.45pm to 7.15pm on Wednesday, November 30.
