Two acting school principals and three acting preschool administrators have been appointed by the Department of Education.Kalmar Richards, the Commissioner of Education, said that the positions were required because of retirements and resignations.The acting principals are Angela Edwards at Somerset Primary and Luann Wainwright-Dill at Dellwood Middle School.The acting preschool administrators are Carmon Byron at St George’s Preschool, Sheryce Raynor at Warwick Preschool and Andrea Tucker at Lagoon Park.Ms Richards said: “These appointments provide staff in the Bermuda public school system leadership development opportunities that will benefit the public school system as we move forward with school redesign and the transformation of our public school system.”The jobs will be effective from September 1, the start of the new school year.
