Rabain lands top award

Rabain is presented with one of her awards by Ian Truran, the BEF president

Kirista Rabain won a host of awards at the Bermuda Equestrian Federation prize giving ceremony last weekend.

Rabain, who will represent Bermuda at the FEI World Jumping Finals in Algeria next month, won the Inwood Trophy for the adult competitor with most overall points during the season. She also claimed the BEF award for the adult equitation champion and the Campbell Wilkinson Trophy.

Casey Truran was awarded the DeCosta Construction Ltd trophy as the top junior, as well as the Raymond White Memorial Trophy, the Jenerations Debut Trophy, the Shalimar Trophy the Little Orvy Trophy and the BHPA Trophy for the champion junior equitation in the 15-18 year group. Michael Rodrigues was named the top coach, while Inwood won the stable award,

Ian Truran, the BEF president, presented Jim Michelsen with the President’s Award in recognition of his valuable contribution and support.
