Bermuda to face Canada in charity event

Bermuda and Canada will battle it out on the golf course for a good cause when the island holds the inaugural Bermuda Canada Ryder Cup for Charity tournament next month.

The four-day pro-am tournament will take place from November 12 to 15 at three of Bermuda’s top courses, Belmont Hills, Port Royal and Tucker’s Point. Funds will be donated to the Coalition for the Protection of Children, a Bermuda charity that works with families to grow and develop a nurturing environment for all young people.

The event is being supported locally by more than a dozen organisations and businesses.

Interested golfers can contact the pro shops at the three clubs to sign up.
