Organisers of the Gosling’s International Invitational will be hoping for better conditions today after the second round at Port Royal was scrapped because of blustery conditions yesterday.

The tournament has now been reduced to a 54-hole event, with play switching to Belmont Hills today for the final two rounds of competition. David Lawrence is the overall leader after an opening round of five-under par 68 on Tuesday.

Bermudian pair Nick Jones and Damian Palanyandi are among the early leaders, tied for fourth after rounds of 72, four strokes behind Lawrence. Palanyandi leads the amateur division.
