The island recorded one case of Covid-19 yesterday, which came in the day before on an Air Canada flight.

The case was among 393 test results that came back to the Ministry of Health yesterday. The rest were clear.

Bermuda has now logged 150 confirmed cases. Four cases are active and under health monitoring. None of those affected are in hospital.

There have been 137 recoveries and deaths from the illness remain at nine.

The average age of all confirmed positive cases stands at 60, with ages ranging from 18 to 101. The average age for deaths is 74, ranging from 57 to 91.

A total of 46 of the island’s cases have come in from overseas, 85 were local transmissions with known contacts and 16 were local transmissions with unknown contacts. Three are under investigation.

Bermuda’s country status is now at “sporadic cases” and the seven-day average of the real-time reproduction number was below 1.
