Somers buys back 600 shares

Share repurchase: Somers, owner of BCB, bought back 600 of its own shares last month

Somers Ltd, the financial-services investment holding company that owns Bermuda Commercial Bank, said yesterday that it repurchased 600 of its own shares during December.

The average cost was $14.50 per share, the company said in a filing with the Bermuda Stock Exchange. The shares will be cancelled with immediate effect.

The number of Somers common shares in issue at the end of 2017 was 19,470,659, net of 600 treasury shares.
