Carey Olsen Bermuda has lured Ashely Fife from Appleby to join its trusts and private wealth practice.

Admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales, Bermuda and Australia, Mr Fife specialises in advising clients on the creation, management, restructuring and termination of private and commercial trusts, with particular expertise concerning pension trusts, unit trusts and complex family structures utilising insurance and investment structures and solutions.

He is recognised as “up and coming” and a “next generation lawyer” in the most recent editions of Chambers and Partners High Net Worth and Legal 500 Caribbean respectively.

He has also featured as a leader in the Citywealth Leaders List since 2016, in which he is described as a “tremendously talented lawyer”. Mr Fife is a member of the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners and is a member of the Step Bermuda Committee.

Mr Fife will join Carey Olsen Bermuda in November after five years with Appleby in Bermuda, prior to which he was head of legal for the Jersey office of international trusts, funds and corporate service provider, TMF Group.
