SS&C Technologies Holdings has announced the appointment of Ken Mahadeo as the head of fund administration for SS&C Fund Services (Bermuda) Ltd.

Mr Mahadeo has over 20 years’ experience in the financial-services sector and is responsible for leading the development and growth of SS&C in Bermuda. He will report to Henry Toy, managing director, SS&C GlobeOp.

Mr Mahadeo joins SS&C most recently from Apex Fund Services Ltd, where he was responsible for business development, operations management and overseeing the regulatory and compliance functions.

He has also held roles at BDO Cayman Ltd, Prime Management, now SS&C Fund Services (Bermuda) Ltd, and BISYS Hedge Fund Services Ltd.

SS&C GlobeOp serves a worldwide clientele of ILS funds, reinsurance companies, hedge funds, private equity funds, funds of funds, managed accounts and family offices.

The company said: “SS&C GlobeOp continues to expand and Bermuda is an integral part of its growth story. Today, SS&C GlobeOp has nearly $1.7 trillion in assets under administration.”
