A move to new offices by Estera Bermuda demonstrates the organisation’s long-term commitment to the island, the company said.

Estera, a global provider of funds, corporate and trust services with operations in 11 jurisdictions, has moved into new digs in Victoria Place.

The office move, the company said, is part of an ongoing investment strategy, and comes at a significant time for the business, which continues to invest in leadership, enhanced service capabilities, and regional expansion. Estera said the move also signals its intention to reinforce its position as a leading player in the Bermuda market.

Alison Dyer-Fagundo, managing director at Estera Bermuda, said: “Investing in new office space is a sign of our commitment to continue to invest in Bermuda. We have a remarkable team of experts at Estera and have recently appointed a new client and operations director, Damian Resnik – all of whom will play a key role in driving our business forward.”

James Maitland, regional head of the Americas, Bermuda and Caribbean at Estera, added: “The move into our new offices is an exciting new chapter for Estera in Bermuda. It is another example of our commitment to delivering world-class services to our clients. In addition to significant global investments to support long-established private wealth and corporate services businesses, Estera has also built a fully-fledged global funds capability. The recent moves to our modern new facilities in both Bermuda and Guernsey are the latest elements of our broader investment strategy in support of our clients, employees and global presence.”

Estera is one of the largest providers of corporate fiduciary services in Bermuda, the company said, offering a comprehensive range of company and trust services to corporate and private clients.

The organisation also has offices in British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Guernsey, Hong Kong, Isle of Man, Jersey, Luxembourg, Malta, Mauritius, and the United Kingdom. With more than 550 professionals globally, Estera services in excess of 6,000 clients and 12,000 entities.

Estera Securities (Bermuda) Ltd, is a registered listing sponsor for the Bermuda Stock Exchange. Earlier this year, Estera sponsored the first-ever listing of a London-domiciled cat bond on the BSX.
